Making Progress

I am finally starting to make headway on these wedding plans. I am finding out that I can’t seem to make quick decisions when it comes to anything regarding the wedding. Each detail has to be well thought out and weighed through trial and error. This is both time consuming and slightly OCD but thankfully I have a little over seven months to get my act together.

Here are some of the wedding projects I have been working on thus far.

Centerpieces have been the most recent undertaking. I knew that I wanted to do sticks instead of flowers to give it more of a wintry feel. The plus side is that they are very inexpensive! These sticks I found in my back yard a few months ago. The beauty is…… they cost $0.

First Attempt with sticks and chalkboard paint

I wasn't sold on the chalkboard paint or the lace candles so I decided to start from scratch and do different kinds of frames.

Last but not least I got a free vintage hat box at an estate sale today! I really like all of the many things I've been able to find and create so far. I know all of this together looks very hodge podge and random but I have faith that it will all come together quite nicely in the end!
