I am finally at that place where I feel comfortable with my wedding progress. I'm coming up on 6 months till THE day and I have to say I'm not stressed. I have my centerpieces finished, bridal attire is set, cake is chosen, guest list is underway and I've even had time to pack up all my hope chest things for our new home. I have a lot more to do this month but here is a look at what I've accomplished in June.
I finally got around to working on my little freebie door... which I still don't know what I will use it for. It was pretty beat up, and discarded on the side of the road, but nothing a little sanding and paint can't fix!
I found yet another door at a rummage sale a few weeks ago. This one I had other plans for. I realized it would make a perfect window to go with my other three I have for the seating chart.
While at the sale, I also snagged another suitcase for only $5! This gray one will look splendid with the others to hold the cards.
I thought the tables may appear to be too plain so I bought some fabric and decided to make some simple place mats to tie in the green.
I ended up having some extra scraps so I experimented with boutonnieres.... They're definitely a work in progress. I still haven't decided if I like artificial or real.
I absolutely love this element of the wedding. Pictures truly don't do these justice. I love all my grandparents and my parents and appreciate the love they have for each other.
A Little Indian Element
Well there you have it. A lot of painting, collecting, and thousands of branches later, I am on my way to finishing my wedding decor. It's taken some time and quite a bit of patience but I feel good and I'm looking forward to this wedding more and more everyday.
